Who We Work With

Organisations that need a registered auditor.

01
Private Companies

Companies approaching the statutory audit threshold, or those required to audit by their articles or a shareholder agreement.

02
Charities and Not-for-Profit

Charitable organisations required to obtain an audit under the Charities Act, and those seeking voluntary assurance.

03
Regulated Entities

Organisations required to file audited accounts with a regulator, lender covenant requirements, or investor-driven audit obligations.

Registered Auditor

Only a registered auditor can sign a statutory audit.

The right to conduct a statutory audit in the UK is restricted to registered auditors - individuals or firms authorised by a Recognised Supervisory Body. Key Ledgers holds registered auditor status and is authorised to conduct statutory audits in England and Wales.

Not every accountant can carry out a statutory audit. When an organisation is required by law, by its articles or by a lender covenant to obtain an audit, the auditor must hold registered auditor status. Key Ledgers is authorised to provide this service.
